- What do I want to know?
- What information do I need to do this?
2 - Do
- Read, view, listen for answers to my questions
- Gather my information from my sources
- Make a product to show that I did a good job
3 - Review
- Did I do what I was supposed to?
- Do I think I did a good job?
- Do I need to fix or add anything before I turn it in?

When you are doing research online, you need to be careful because not all websites tell the truth. Anyone can put anything on Wikipedia, even if it is not true. If you find a website, check the following to see if it can be trusted. The more "yes"es you have, the more likely it is to be reliable.
- Do you see the name of author of the website?
- Does the website end in .edu or .gov or .org?
- Can you find when it was last updated? (You want it to be current.)
- Is the website free of advertisements?
- Does the website have references to where the information can be found?
Don't forget a bibliography at the end!
A bibliography is what you use to cite your sources and show where you got your information. At the end of your report, list the books and websites you used when you were doing your research. To remember what information to include, remember ABCDE.
A - Author
B - Book Title
C - Company, City of Publication
D - Date of Publication
E - Every Page
